With the Wolfgangsee Schifffahrt you can easily get to the other places on the lake, with the rack railroad to the Schafberg, or with the cable car to the Zwölferhorn.
The nature lover can enjoy the mountains around the Wolfgangsee, or interesting excursion destinations in the near or far surroundings. The imperial town of Bad Ischl is a 20-minute drive from St. Wolfgang, the cultural city of Salzburg is a 50-minute drive away, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hallstatt is a 4o-minute drive away. All places are also accessible by public transport.
